I am a graduate of Mount Saint Mary College. In my freshman year I was awarded the KME Euclid/Kovalevskaya award for most active freshman in the mathematics community at the Mount. I quickly became a member of the Math Club on campus and was treasurer in my sophomore year and president in my junior year. In my junior year I was honored as a Aquinas Scholar and I have been inducted to a number of honor societies listed below.
During my years at the Mount I have worked in admissions as an admissions ambassador, been an orientation leader to welcome in freshmen, and have been a peer tutor of mathematics. Since the Mount I have worked as a certified high school teacher. Teaching as a long term sub for both Algebra I and Algebra II as well as a summer school teaching for Algebra I and Geometry. Currently I am enrolled in the University at Albany graduate program and working towards a masters in mathematics. This is bringing me one step closer to my goal of a Mathematics Doctorate. I am excited for the future and can picture myself, in ten years or so, teaching at a college and conducting mathematical research.
